Past Customer Reviews:
Peach is the princess of the fictional Mushroom Kingdom, which is constantly under attack by Bowser. She often plays the damsel in distress role within the series and is the lead female. She is often portrayed as Mario’s love interest and has appeared in Super Princess Peach, where she is the main playable character.
Princess Peach’s initial appearance was drawn by Shigeru Miyamoto. Miyamoto later asked Yōichi Kotabe to redraw Peach with his instructions. He had asked Kotabe to draw her eyes to be “a little cat-like”. With Kotabe’s influence, Princess Peach changed considerably throughout her gaming system. Peach was not a playable character in New Super Mario Bros. Wii because a satisfactory mechanism to use her dress was not found, however, she is the main protagonist in Super Princess Peach and is a playable character in most Mario spin-offs such as Mario Party, Mario Kart, and also sports games.
Waluigi (ワルイージ Waruīji, [wa.ɾɯ.iː.dʑi̥]) (English: /wɑːluˈiːdʒi/) is a character in Super Mario Bros. He plays the role of Luigi’s arch-rival and accompanies Wario in spin-offs from the main Mario series, often for the sake of causing mischief and problems. He was created by Camelot employee Fumihide Aoki and is voiced by Charles Martinet, who described Waluigi as someone who has a lot of self-pity and would “cheat to win”.
Waluigi debuted in the game Mario Tennis as Luigi’s rival and Wario’s partner. Since then, he would remain a playable character in the main Mario series spin-offs, occasionally causing comedic mischief alongside Wario or antagonizing the rest of the characters, primarily Mario and Luigi. Since his debut, Waluigi has received mixed reception from fans and critics alike.
