miiostore Costume Rental Terms & Conditions

  1. Upon booking confirmation, it is assumed that customers (known as “hirer”) have read, understood and agreed to the listed conditions of costumes rental (known as “hire”).
  2. You must be 18 years or over to make a booking.
  3. All costumes remain the property of miiostore Costumes Singapore.
  4. The named hirer has the sole responsibility for the costume until the costume is returned to miiostore Costumes Singapore.
  5. No refunds will be issued once a costume has been booked, this includes cancellation of the function, for whatever reason.
  6. Any changes to a booking will be subject to a $10 administration fee.
  7. If a costume has been booked and subsequently damaged by a third party before your hire date, we will offer a comparable replacement.
  8. Customers should check their costume thoroughly and advise miiostore of any damage, marks, or items missing before their function. A text message can be left on the stipulated phone. Any damage not reported by 7.30 p.m. on the day of collection, will be charged to the hirer.
  9. Costumes must be returned on the day specified on the hire agreement, and returned within normal shop opening times. Failure to do so will result in a $15 per costume day surcharge.
  10. Customers must not wash costumes or tumble dry any wet item.
  11. Customers must not attach sticky labels or badges to any part of the costume.
  12. Customers must not pin, sew, glue or iron any costume that is hired.
  13. Part or all of the deposit will be forfeit or the cost or replacement charged if;
    1. A costume is returned beyond reasonable repair
    2. The costume is returned needing specialised cleaning
    3. The costume is returned with permanent damage, i.e. cigarette burns
    4. The costume is returned with one or more items missing
    5. Any modifications have been carried out on the costume
    6. The costume is returned with blood (or other body fluids)
    7. The costume is not returned to miiostore Costumes Singapore for whatever reason
    8. Deposits or the cost of replacement will be deducted from the customer’s ARD/Credit Card/Debit Card/PayPal (if applicable) if the costume is returned, as per condition 13.1, 13.2, 13.3, 13.4, 13.5, 13.6, 13.7.
    9. Original red hangers, costume pins, and costume bags must be returned; failure to do so will result in a $3 charge per missing item.
